Sources and Uses of Revenue in our
Parish What you get for $1.275 million
The summary of revenues and expenses are listed
below. The salaries of the staff have been allocated to the various
ministries. This summary, however, does not reflect the total
contributions of the parish and the impact of the various programs.
Parishoners have donated thousands of hours of time and talent in
addition to the treasures. Below is a short list of just some of the
items that occurred in the last year because of this generosity.
Stewardship—Welcomed 148 newly registered
households. As part of our pledge to tithe 10% of our income, we
honored about 25 grants and made the final payment on our commitment to
Palisades Retreat House and made the first payment to help the Blessed
Mother of Calcutta parish. Hosted Tent City.
Youth--Over 200 Jr. and Sr. High teens
participated in Sunday Teen meetings, spirituality groups, teen band,
conventions, three mission trips, and service projects. 70 teens were
confirmed with the help of parents, adult leaders, facilitators, and
organizers.
Faith Formation and Education—81 children
received First Eucharist with support from parents and catechists. Over
250 children learned about their faith in weekly classes and
participated in service activities such as preparing lunches for the
residents of Tent City. The RCIA people helped 10 adults come into the
church with baptism and confirmation. Stephen Ministers aid those who
need it. Eucharistic Ministers visit and take communion to local
hospitals, retirement centers, and the homebound.
Sacraments and Liturgy –88 Baptisms, 19
marriages, 50 annointings, 22 funerals, and 1 deaconate ordination.
Three choirs and a couple dozen cantors and accompanists provide music.
In total 380 people serve in 11 liturgical ministries.
Thank you for your time, talent, and treasure.
