the past year; names of those who had been involved in a discussion with
Holy Family, Kirkland in 1998, as well as names of worthwhile contacts.
-
Parish Council election process:
-
Four nominations had been received, of whom David Bowman, Bob Stephens,
and Bob Johnson had completed nomination forms. Kerry Monterey was
overseas. Don contacted him after the meeting and he decided
to withdraw his name form consideration.
-
It was decided that the reason why each nominee felt called to run for
Pastoral Council, along with their photographs, be placed in the pews at
all masses on weekend of 13/14th May.

Elections would take place during masses held on the weekend on 20th/21st
May.

Ballots would be in the same format with a box next to each candidate
for voting purposes.
-
An announcement would be made from the ambo.

-
Don envisioned that the mission committee would submit a preliminary
draft to Pastoral Council for review.
-
May need formal survey, calling people, parish-wide listening sessions
to be statistically valid.
-
Once finalized by Pastoral Council, set 5 year goals, based on mission
statement and then set 1 year goals.
-
Don will develop an action plan to make things happen
-
Kitchen Shower:
-
Don will suggest to Mary Moore that she contact Lynn and Ruth in
office to get names of various committees and members using kitchen.
Suggestions include Ann Case (Funeral Reception committee), Social
Committee, St Bernadette’s Guild, Knights Of Columbus, Youth Group, and
Donut committee.

interviews for Pastoral Assistant position and 1 member at interviews

-
Would need to form an impression of candidate as to fit with job
description, and church’s history and needs.

would check her availability on those days.

Don would ask Anuscha and Gary if they would like to be present at
interviews
