"...there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there
are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are
varieties of working, but the same God who inspires them all in
every one. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for
the common good.

What is Stewardship?
Stewardship is our returning to God in gratitude and joy the first portion
of the generous gifts given to us by our gracious God.
All that we have and all that we are...is a gift from God. We are all
called by Christ to use our TIME, TALENT and TREASURE to proclaim the
Good News through sharing all that we have in active love and generosity.
Stewardship Council
The purpose of the St. Jude Stewardship Council is to increase awareness and
promote the many aspects of stewardship. The Stewardship Commission serves
as consultative body to the pastor and parish leadership in developing and
promoting discipleship and stewardship (time, talent, treasure) as a way of
life.
With Jesus as our example and the Holy Spirit as our guide, we strive to
identify the many gifts God has given us in sacred trust and our need to
return these gifts in good measure. In order to carry out this Mission of
Discipleship, we are committed to the creation and enrichment of programs
that will challenge, develop and utilize the gifts and talents of each
Parishioner and our Parish family resulting in a conversion of the way we
live, work, worship and pray.
