Buildings and Grounds

Coffee & Donuts or Wine & Cheese

Eucharistic Adoration

Fridays from 9:30am to 9:00pm, in the Eucharistic Chapel. The Blessed Sacrament is exposed and adored by volunteers who sign up for one hour or more to pray before the Lord Jesus present in the Monstrance. Contact Shari Stecher at

Eucharistic Minister

Assist with the distribution of communion during Mass. Contact Cathy Mulligan at

Finance Council

Advises the Pastor on financial matters of the parish. Responsible for monitoring all income and expenses, and approving the annual budgets. Contact Krista Schafer at

Funeral Reception Ministry

Serve or donate food items for funeral receptions. Contact Ann Case at

Guardians & Angels

Guardians & Angels provides fellowship for ALL mothers in the Redmond community. Mothers with children of any age, parishioner or non-parishioner, are welcome! Meetings take place on Fridays 9:30-11:30 in Lovett Hall.  We gather weekly to participate in various activities from crafting to community outreach projects. Childcare is provided. Knights of Columbus

A Catholic fraternal and service organization that assists the parish with special projects and sponsors social functions, i.e., Pancake Breakfast, Crab Feed, and Oktoberfest. Contact John Bachler at

Men's Group - Brothers in Christ 

All men are welcome! Meetings are held every Friday morning from 6:15am - 7:30am . Music Ministry

Join together in song, under the talented direction of our choir directors.

  • Sanctuary Choir rehearses on Thursdays, 7pm, singing at 9am Mass. Contact Sue Shellooe at
  • Gospel Choir rehearses Wednesdays, 7pm, singing at 11am Mass. Contact Stacey Porter at
  • Soul Purpose rehearses on Tuesdays, 7pm, singing at Mass, Sunday evenings at 5:30pm. Contact Meghan Pozywio at

Office Angels

A group that counts the funds collected at Mass each week or assists preparing bulletins or other light office work. Each group volunteers about twice a month. Contact Lynn Shanta at

Parish Library

Keep the parish library organized, updated and welcoming.  Contact Julianne Mitchell at

Rosary Cenacle/Group

Held every morning after 9:00am Mass except for Friday when it is prayed before the 9:00am Mass. The rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet is prayed every Monday evenings at 7:00PM in the Chapel. Contact Anita Keahy @

Social Committee

Volunteers who coordinate social activities and gatherings of parishioners during the year. Contact Pat Smith at

Works of Mercy and Justice

Various groups provide resources for parishioners to engage in service activites with others.


  • St. Vincent dePaul: St Vincent de Paul is a Catholic lay organization which helps participants grow spiritually by offering person-to-person outreach to those who are needy and suffering. We visit and reach out to those in need with support and financial assistance for basic necessities. Contact Paul at for information on participating in the SVdP ministry or to make a donation.   • Giving Tree: collect contributions and Christmas gifts for those in need our community. Contact Susan Pilawski at

  • Matthew House: support families of prisoners in Monroe by collecting clothing and food. Contact Lois Nelson at

  • Minister to Homebound: Visit and take communion to homebound, retirement homes, adult homes and hospitals. Contact Sr. Betty @

  • Prison Ministry: reach out to those who are in prison by facilitating a bible study and/or communion service.  Contact Liz Bruno at or Jim McCoy at

  • Pro-Life: provide faith-based information and education to deepen the understanding of the sanctity of human life from natural conception to natural death and support programs related to pregnancy and those who have had an abortion.  Contact Jim McCoy at

  • Social Justice Committee: increase your understanding of Catholic social teaching through education, reflection, prayer and to respond to injustices locally and globally through advocacy and service. Contact Sr. Betty at

Stephen Ministry
